My guess is Saul realizes he has to find ways to make money so he can keep his office and eventually become a lawyer again. And through this process he realizes he likes it, is good at it, enjoys the Saul persona… maybe? Or maybe he continues to be embarrassed of it. That'd be an interesting twist.

From what I've heard about the making of the show, Odenkirk doesn't like to write/improvise much on BCS, because he likes the writing on the show a lot. Montage scenes like that will sometimes have a bunch of possible lines for the actor to use.

I like that we saw it emerge in this slightly off way. It's Saul Goodman, but its not Saul Goodman Saul Goodman. Now we're starting to see how he gets to his BB persona, and why he is more crooked and not lawful (guys gotta make money to keep paying for his office!)

I'm impressed you remembered that, and I'm impressed the writers did. Though I guess I'm not surprised.

Lydia lives in Houston, which seems to be a pretty far drive. She might have some part in picking out or purchasing the laundry though, which I could see her making a trip for.

I think he was just totally over it. Not wasting any effort on Chuck any more.

Surprise, the movie is tedious too!

Wouldn't big clothes be in style for the early 2000s? Or at least close enough to in-style that someone like Jimmy would buy clothes like that?

On the podcast they mention Nacho will play a much bigger role before the season is over.

Her face is so expressive. There's a shot, I believe in the first episode of season two, where she and Jimmy get drunk and leave the Kenwins bar laughing. And Kim looks and Jimmy and her whole face is just glowing. Kim is great!

I definitely agree that its a homage, but I like their adjustment to it: the dead on shot of Chuck that pushes in and distorts his face as he breaks down. Great long shot and performance.

One of the things I hate most about Chuck is how everyone is falling over themselves to accommodate his fake illness. These people are ruling over his testimony about his brother getting disbarred and they're confiscating cell phones from everyone to make sure Chuck is feeling okay. Makes the end of the episode all

There were so many times this episode where I thought "Kim is GORGEOUS." Sorry for being all sexist and all but I like Kim.

Yeah I really appreciated that they didn't have Jimmy fuck it up. It would have been short term drama but seeing how this plays out long term should be much more interesting.

I so badly wanted Kim to walk into that hearing at the end and go "A little dark in here, huh?" And flip on the lights. FUCK YOU CHUCK!

That smile Kim had when she said "Bingo" at the end broke my heart. Because it made me so happy to see them working together like that but I know it can't mean anything good for Kim.

I also think Mike has been so far ahead of everyone else in his life, he was in no way prepared for someone like Gus. So even if Jimmy wasn't a professional snoop, he thought he would get the job done, and could talk his way out of any problems that arose.

Yeah, he seemed much more in his element when he started fast talking Gus about the watch, but obviously Gus was already on to him (and on to Mike probably before he even called Jimmy in) because Gus is a genius.

I thought last week's episode was a bit slow but this one really picked up for me. I mean, the pace was slow at times, but think how much happened. We just went like 20 moves closer to Saul this one episode. Francesca, the tape, Jimmy's desire for excitement and to break the law. Not to mention Mike being contacted by

Yeah it seemed like with this episode the Better Call Saul style starting slowly moving towards the BB style. A lot more handheld shots, a lot more "inside things" shots.
