Also, why would he say he needs the batteries NOW and then lock up the tape recorder afterwards? It was a pure set up.

I don't know about best they've ever done, but I like Transference a lot so I'm giving you the ol' up arrow.
Comedy > Family
Bette's daughter is also cast similarly MUCH hotter than her real life counterpart.
Really well done montage, and even better for the subtlety of it. Nice examination!
It's not that surprising to me because Lapkus is always super sexual. Micucci surprised me a lot though.
Yeah I feel bad because it just doesn't seem like she speaks English that well. But either way it's really distracting, and she's not badass or intimidating at all to me.
My assumption is that because the pilot was made so long ago, Otto got tied up in other jobs when the time to shoot the actual series came around. But I have no idea, really.
I've seen that pilot and she was great. Which makes her replacement all the more disappointing.
I honestly think Sidse Babett Knudsen is completely terrible in this role. It seems like she's just stating her lines one word at a time. She pulls me out of every scene she's in.
They realize they can get people to come to this place with cheap articles and lists, and not spending money on weekly writers writing 1000 word articles.
The wide shot of Jesse and Cassidy digging the grave, highlighted by the car headlights with the silhouette of the tree behind them was one gorgeous shot.
Michael Slovis DP'd just about every episode of Breaking Bad, and directed at least one.
Yeah I'm feeling like there's more to it too. If there isn't I don't feel as bad.
Is anyone else super ripped up that Eugene is stuck in hell because Jesse lost his temper? I guess I hope what Eugene did is as awful as Jesse made it out to be, because otherwise… fuck.
This show has characters I like and care about though, so it'll never be as bad as TWD.
Whoa watch who you say that to buddy!
I don't usually agree with Mike D'Angelo, but I agree with him here. The one-take gimmick made this movie about 20 minutes longer than it needed to be. I was really ready for this one to end.
I wonder how much that had to do with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg directing it. I hope the rest of the series can pull off the same tone.
Hey don't say too much now
