Like "Island of Dr. Moreau"-era Marlon Brando, but with beadier eyes.
It's interesting how once the summer solstice has come and gone around June 21, then suddenly people are in the mood to watch "scary movies" again. It seems as though the supernatural horror genre has more emotional resonance during the six months of the year when daylight is waning.
In "Escape From the Planet of the Apes", Ricardo Montalban played a kindly human who bred super-apes to master humanity. In "Star Trek II", he played a genetically altered super-human, himself bred to master humanity. In Fantasy Island, he played Tattoo's Boss, and created Fantasies to help the weekly guest stars…
I just happened to turn this show on after not watching this season. The first thing I saw was Strand talking to the Russian cosmonaut, saying, "I saw the lights go out before my re-entry. I speak to you from my grave."
Hey, the name "Alice Cooper" came up during an Official Band Ouija Board Session!
Sarlaccalamari. Deep-fried Rancor hush-puppies.
He was a relatable badass. A sort of sociopath MacGyver.
They telegraphed it at the beginning of the episode, *car trouble*, when her vehicle almost slammed into the oil drilling rig.
I enjoyed her in "Dark Shadows", that was five years ago, not ancient history…
Good crossover: Aerosmith and Run-DMC on "Walk This Way"
Bad crossover: Sir Paul and Stevie on "Ebony and Ivory". The whole thing was a little too, ah…on the nose.

I get the impression that Leather was inspired by Joan Jett in some convoluted fashion. That alone makes her the better Tuscadero sister.
"I cannot make an effective demonstration with your Dantooines here in the lounge. But don't worry, I shall deal with them soon enough…"
The first one was caught by surprise and didn't have time to react. (I think it may have been a cosplay human.)
My beloved dog Rancor has already eaten two Gamorreans on the conference floor.
The good folks at Terminus just wanted to check Rick and Corl for head lice, before welcoming them into the community.
Michael Rooker in "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer". When I first moved to Wicker Park, he was regarded as a sort of dark patron saint of the locale.
He looks like he spent some time in a London Dungeon of his own making.
