I think Quinn is now producing Rachel's love life as though Rachel was a contestant on Everlasting! We just saw Rachel bringing a contestant's ex-boyfriend into the picture in this episode. Quinn is using the same play on Rachel. I guess Adam's role is to cause conflict between Rachel and Coleman, which Quinn will
