He still does, he put it in his best shows of the year list.

It was all I watched. I contemplate the possibility from time to time to give it another shot, but I'm always behind on other shows. I kinda hate HBO's current brand of comedy (the only one I watch is Veep), so that always keeps me from watching it.

I don't like this show. I tried it, but I really hated that pilot. It was entirely about hook ups and I'm not interested in that.

I completely forgot about that, though I think they reshot the pilot to include Melora Hardin, right?

If this were premiering on NBC, it'd be far and away the best network pilot of the season, much as I enjoyed The Last Man on Earth, Jane the Virgin and Fresh Off the Boat. Being on a streaming site, I'd say it only loses to the Transparent pilot as the best pilot of the season, but it's so much better than anything

Those are definitely my favorite seasons of each one. I think The Office peaked the longest of all these shows (seasons 2-5 are pretty much on the same level, though 2 is clearly the best of all) but almost nothing on TV blew my mind as hard as season 2 of Community.

It doesn't make much sense to compare these shows and not include Community as well, so let's do it:

"I can't choose that, it's like asking me which one of my children's placenta was more delicious."

Shit, that's true. Though in my defense, Windmill Owner said "now". And Hannibal isn't airing now.

You know, in my heart, The Office ended with Goodbye Michael. Then everybody came back two years later to do a special called "Finale".

I watched 5 episodes so far. It has every bit of the comedic rhythms and style of 30 Rock, but also it feels as if Fey decided to respond to some of the criticism against 30 Rock and created well-rounded characters who can occasionally surprise you with a vulnerable moment (though they mostly come up in absurd ways,

Just most? I'd say ANYthing on NBC can't compare to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Hey, I just remembered: The Comeback! Valerie is Brought to Her Knees is really cringeworthy and Paulie G. is probably the nastiest comedy character I can remember.

Totally, Southland deserves to be remembered for a long time.

Dinner Party is my favorite Office episode, but I wouldn't say it made me cringe. Scott's Tots was painful because it dealt with Michael's actions to normal people. Dinner Party was filled with The Office's crazy characters, so nothing felt painful to me.

Jesus fucking Christ, I just read your post and went straight to wikipedia do read the plot description. I'm devastated.

It's not exactly about being devastating. It's about being painful to watch, but in a good way. And I find White Bear fits that description way better than any of Black Mirror's episodes.

I would never ever choose "That's My Dog" for this list. Six Feet Under has far more painful episodes than this. Season 4's premiere "Falling Into Place" is unbelievably excruciating to watch (besides being Peter Krause's best performance in his entire career). And season 5's "All Alone" is really terryfingly sad,

I would also add The Office finale. As much as that whole season was a giant freaking mess, I find that finale absolutely spectacular from top to bottom.

And some kleenex. I think there are some in Leslie's desk.
