    I feel like the show has significantly improved over the last few episodes, but I'm not yet fully convinced it is finding its footing, or just fluctuated up a bit before inevitable decline.     Not really a spoiler, and perhaps I am exaggerating as it's been quite some time, but I recall in the last book with maybe 100 pages left where King goes on a tirade against his critics about how his endings generally aren't very good and he dares the reader to just stop there and be done with it then. I took him up
