Ha - maybe they will pull a King Richard the Lionheart here. He was shot by some anonymous bowman while conducting a rather meaningless siege, dying when the wound festered.
Many have expressed some doubt that Jon's father is definitely Rhaegar. But given the info graphic in the "making of" HBO blog it's quite clear:
Good point. Cersei is all about instant gratification and is unwilling or unable to take the long view.
Like Sheldon, I want to die by being killed by a Kraken - that way the last thing I'd hear would be "Release the Kraken!"
He'll either ride a dragon or fly by warging into a dragon
Weren't the second sons left in Mereen with Daario to keep the peace?
Ned, being so 'honorable' clearly wasn't the type to come back from the war with a bastard child for his wife to raise. Catelyn's reaction to Jon may well have been what convinced others that the child really was Ned's - if his wife believed it, then who else would have questioned it.
Isn't the Lannister gold gone and they had to seek more favorable terms from the Iron Bank?
Exactly. Jon has faced and fought the Night King and his forces while Sansa has yet to even see them. Also, even as she argued that she knew Ramsay better than anyone, she also admitted she knew nothing of planning battles, other than to have superior numbers. And the army of the dead will have the superior…
Conceivably dragons can also melt white walkers.
But the battle for Westeros is not the real end game or final battle - far from it.
You'd have thought Ned could've told Caitlyn so she wouldn't treat Jon like shit. Then again, her treating him that way worked to convince everyone that Jon really was Ned's bastard, in spite of how out of character it was for him to have a fling.
And as long as it takes to get the review up, a final review and edit would not have taken much longer.
Meera Reed's father likely knows, if he's still alive - I can't remember from the books if he is or not.
