Yes, exactly! I think a lot of the deeper episodes in the original run reflect the themes of this series quite a lot, it's just that now they have more time to progress and flesh them out.

I've seen it on at least two bottom 10 lists, which is appalling considering how high quality the character personalities and designs are (not to mention, Samurai Jack doesn't even have enough bad episodes for there to be a list of them…)
