Great article. One of my all time favorite movies. Makes me bawl every single time.

That would tie-in pretty well to Hamm's character in The Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt. Except way off the deep-end religious.

I would pit Until I Fall Away v. Walk on the Ocean.

I saw Gin Blossoms at the Louisiana OysterFest last summer, and they were still great! If only I'd worn my Doc Martens, I would have been fully transported to 1994.

How great was Star-Burns as Zed from Zardoz?!

Is that Jason Sudeikis as the baseball player at 10:33?

All great stuff. The thing that got me the most, and it was super early on, was "Troy and Abed in Mo(u)rning!" Perfect.

I don't have a whole lot of answers for you, but the plantation-looking hospital is just that. Most of the buildings here in New Orleans are super old, and a lot of them look plantation-ish, and heck, many of them were parts of plantations not too long ago. So, it's just that—plantation-looking hospital.

It was Losing My Religion, off of Out of Time, which came out in 1991. :)

The only show my sister and I weren't allowed to watch (and I think it was more along the lines of discouraged from watching) was Married… With Children. My mom thought the show was crude, and just generally didn't like it, so it was never on at our house. And honestly, I didn't have the desire to watch it either.
