I read…really fast, and have a near-eidetic memory. And frankly, IJ isn't as hard as its reputation suggests. The only parts I ever had to slog through were the Marathe/Steeply dialogues. It's just a tremendous novel.

I did IJ in 8 days, but I was completely demolished afterwards. (I also had nothing much else on my schedule.) Highest possible recommendation.
