I despise Rodney and would have much preferred to have seen the poetic justice of him getting blindsided over Lindsey (and those smug expressions on his face, ugh the worst). But I wasn't unhappy that Lindsey left either. Her comments about Mike's God last week and Rodney's mother this week were despicable.

Good point about the editing. Another thing that occurred to me: I'm not sure I was really rooting for anyone that season. There were great characters that I enjoyed (Rafe, Gary, Jamie, Amy) and interesting characters that I rooted against (Stephenie, Judd) but no one I was really invested in winning.

Continuing my critically lauded season rankdown, post series rewatch:

Sometimes creepy characters can be entertaining on Survivor, for me at least. Brian Heidik was one. Amazon Matt's another.

I think the basic reason is that Max and Shirin are awkward in a way that annoys a lot of people, on Survivor Island and in life. On tv that can be entertaining or interesting for viewers, but in person, over an extended period of time? I think Shirin is tv gold but being stuck with either of them on an island would

SJDS turned out to be a pretty good season, post-merge. And one great episode pre-merge with the Drew boot. Plus Natalie!

I thought he was a really enjoyable character, all those mini tantrums and always being out of the loop. But definitely not a good player.

I think Shirin hilarious. I'm not rooting for her but she's a lot of fun. I'm just sad that she and Joachim are no longer on the same tribe.

He is the most fun to watch. His ALL CAPS TALKING. The positive attitude, the strategizing, everything. A loveable idiot who is actually not an idiot. He's like the Reverse Dan.

I loved watching the Super Super Fans getting spanked at tribal council. Super entertaining. And I love how this cast is so full of fans of the show that there are gradations of fandom rather than just fans and recruits.

I am glad you have finally realized that I can have my own opinion on that trifling twit. I am sad that you are so moronic that you think I've called your own opinions "wrong" when that is actually what you have been doing to me. I never dismissed your opinions until you dismissed mine. And in general I don't think

Ugh you are like a dog with a bone. There's no more meat on that bone!

You are repeating yourself yet again. I have given you your "evidence" and your "proof" - it's in the confessionals. And yet you see something different in those confessionals. Fine, you are looking at the evidence and the proof differently than I am. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

#1: YOU KEEP REPLYING BUT YOU ARE SAYING NOTHING NEW. It drives me up the wall whenever I get a notification that you've replied because it means someone whose posts I've really enjoyed in the past (yourself) is YET AGAIN trying to prove me wrong with the same repeated arguments. It is beyond tedious. You are

Agree, agree. It is sort of ridiculous for people to try to micromanage this show's plot reveals or to hold its pacing against it. The Flash has literally decades of material to draw from. There's so much there.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't think I've ever read a Twin Peaks article on here.

I could care less about what you decide to let go.

At this point I'm happy that Patrick and Kevin are together because Richie really deserves someone a lot more compelling than Patrick.

You guys are inspiring me to look at those scenes with a better attitude the next time around. They are literally my least favorite parts of both seasons. Now I wonder why I was so annoyed with them.

Because making an event that is not about Marnie be about Marnie is so Marnie.
