Nice! It's ok to make an entertaining fun show without a dark dystopian theme and an anti-hero the same way you can write (or listen to) a catchy song with a melody.

I don't know. It's not like this used to be Citizen Kane. It's meandering and predictable but maybe in the early episodes the fact that it was meandering and predictable was disguised by the novelty of it.
