If, as Jamie heals, he plays more of a driving force, that would help. What they've done to Claire might bother me more - I always pictured her as just radiating a warm, sassy, take-no-shit quality that drew people to her. In the show, she comes off as stuck up to me, which was NEVER something I pictured.

Thanks, Cindy - honestly, my intent isn't to try to make nice, happy people feel like their show is stupid or that they are stupid for liking it. If you see the flaws and enjoy it as is anyway (or even if you just don't see any flaws at all), good for you, truly! There are just some people who get really angry when

[says the guy who has been posting on Outlander nonstop, and gets his TWs in a wad that some people don't like his precious show. Talk about a pathetic lack of a life. Does your existence really hinge this much on TV?]

Actually, we're 18 episodes in.

You COULD just scroll by, but apparently you think YOUR time is well spent scrolling through comment threads and telling those who don't agree with you how they should spend THEIR time.

This post could get really long if I went all the way back to the beginning of the series, so I will just focus on 202. I warn in advance of my liberal use of sarcasm and snark, which is not directed at you :)

YES!!!! Pretty much every episode has felt like it belongs on the Hallmark channel instead of on a premium channel.

Ooooh burn :)
A peek at your collection of comments makes that particularly cute .

Because you can back up your love with "facts" alone? Certainly opinion has to factor in somewhere.

I think all the positive comments are you, same fangirl posting over and over again, with the desperate hope that the Outlander team will notice and all become your best friends in appreciation for your devotion.

OMG HOW DARE YOU GET PERSONAL AND CALL MY USERNAME STUPID!!! I MUST HAVE A GOOD CRY NOW.

How can it be "personal" when I don't have the slightest clue who you are?

Oh I would be happy to get into every example of how this "adaptation" sucks if you'd like.

Maybe you and all the fangirls on this page are actually one crazy girl who thinks everyone involved in the show will become her very best friends if she just manages to fangirl hard enough. Dream big.

You're entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. And I will- very funny to laugh at this mess of a show.

Someone's got her big girl panties in a wad.

The show is something different, alright. Much to its detriment.

Would you prefer "bobbleheads"?

Apparently it will never be good either.

So what? It's almost so bad that it is unintentionally funny. Every once in a while we get to see glimpses of an appealing Jamie. Acceptable as background for multitasking.
