best mistake ever.

personally i loved the lombardozzi subplot. also loved alicia's red raincoat thing in that last scene (but it's secondary to kalinda's dress!).

nope. objectively untrue. i yawned at this season. not a single moment made me yell at the tv. all the interesting characters were so thinly written and tenuously tied together. season 3 kept me on to season 4…this episode made me decidedly shrug my shoulders.

no idea what elegiac means but this has been the most disappointing season of homeland to date. and this episode…tied off plotlines like a bullet-point list. the germany stage should have stretched over more than one season. and rupert friend is entitled to move on from homeland, but not like this. not like this.

"who's the one sucking it up??" oof, that was slap-worthy.

when i heard about the abortion the images of nissa calling zach while crying on her bed and zach not picking up popped into my head. it all makes so much sense now.

julius is back!!!

"oh dear mother of god!" alicia just called peter god.
where did zach get admitted?
nobody touched the lasagna. i love when shows pay attention to the most important details.
the cary thing was weird.

i knew it was colin's house when the music came on…

peter sucks so much. the last scene of this episode was an i love to hate you moment though. she cut him like a knife through butter. but i doubt peter/alicia is altogether done…looking forward to two more seasons of binging.

i hate how fake peter is. your roots are showing, asshole.

completely unfair…c'est la vie.

is it really that hard to find someone with a brazilian accent to read some witness lines? they film in nyc, which has TONS of brazilians. every time i heard SIN-QUAY-TARRA i cringed. and casorla doesn't sound like a portuguese name…it sounds spanish.

wait…i thought the show was suggesting that kalinda was behind more, if not all of the leaks and messages to the kids.

amazing.

i don't understand the hate with this episode. there was so much goodness that i can forgive any weaknesses.
the scenes between alicia and will were really just so steamy.

i think maybe allison didn't know her but the back and forth stares between them was enough to establish a line of communication. i think allison checking her shoe was the signal (not smoking, she smokes all the damn time). maybe "everything's under control," "nothing compromised yet," "don't try to engage with cia"?

knowing bibi's people personally allows him to pass on information, including identities, group dynamics, strategies, and weaknesses.
it may also serve to restore his faith in humanity. at the beginning of the season he was jaded, i'd even say islamophobic. but it could go the other way—the torture he went through

well even if they share time with leo equally she still needs a crib for her apartment.

you should also check out a royal affair! it introduced me to mads.

the hair looked similar when it was just barely in the shot. wanted that too!
