These to are the sexiest tv couple, maybe ever. One can only hope they acknowledge they're still in love before Ragnar dies.
And in general, Vikings is such a good show, it's too bad it airs on the wrong network. Would be infinitely better on pay cable.

I think that line was to pay off what she'd said to the little boy. "Keep your enemies close they will betray you/friends die" etc. Inviting Erlendur with her in the next breath was a signal for us to understand she's knows Erlendur has it out for her.

Can we talk about the plot holes? Maybe it's simply Hirst's style to blow past the details that could bog down the story (if mishandled) in favor of covering more ground. Whatever the case, at times it leaves me at a loss.

I know the hallucination was supposed to feel heavy and it really was beautiful, but I have a very hard time feeling any sympathy for Ragnar. He made his bed, so he needs to lie in it.
This is what happens when you trade happiness for fame.
Surprise, you're dead inside.

I have very little sympathy for Ragnar. He chose his bed and now he must lie in it.

But isn't that more like "what already was" Or "what
wasn't good enough" ?

Really? Hmmm

But that's just what I mean. Following through for what purpose? Because she said so, now she must do it? That's the kind of robot sensibility that a fully flushed character does not do. It's true, Kalf couldn't be trusted, but it's also clear that she had mixed feelings about killing him. She doesn't even know

I don't think she's really pregnant.

Perfect for Ragnar who is both weird and sexy.

And of course Lagertha is not truly pregnant. That makes me sad.

My worst fears have come true. My Lagertha has been reduced to a soulless killing machine. When she isn't lurking in the one-dimensional shadows, she's wielding her ax. How can the #2 on this show be so poorly written?

Thanks for this. Great insight, just what I wanted to know.

Agree. F&H have turned out to be the enduring love story on this show.

I don't think Kalf is really on Ragnar's radar. The honor of disposing him will go to Lagertha, if not Bjorn himself.

All good. There's always Tumblr :)

Somehow, I think Horik's son makes the cut. He's like the thing that won't die.

Ok, now I'm sure :)

I do get the sense heads will roll next week. And maybe she has surprising news.

For Ragnar to have been so emotional over Bjorn these past few weeks, he sure brushed off his safe return. Kind of a disappointing moment for me.
