Does seem the History Channel is mostly junk. How many shows about pawn shops can one air.?One of the main reason I have digital cable is H2 where you watch non junk.

I think a lot of people hate the studio shows on espn as do I, but ESPN has locked up MNF, all the major college football bowl games as well as college basketball and NBA playoffs and major tennis and the British Open. I think it would be a small number that would actually give these selections up for an entire year.

The bulk of this article is a bit BS. I read elsewhere the real reason they renewed was it great demographic for viewers despite the low rating number. The college educated 25-40 viewers that watched was decent even if ratingswere abnormally bad for a renewed show in other demos.

Rubicon was popular on the BBC as well, but it did not matter since the show was already canceled by AMC. I do wish Netlflix or direct tv would have picked it up instead of some of the junk like the new Full House.

If you like classic cinema, there are ton of great old movies available only on dvd. Probably not enough demand for bluray, and for the most part not for streaming either, although amazon's classic film library is impressive.

Great movie. I have not seen in a few years. It is the Hamlet of crime drama. You know things will end badly, but it's completely captivating.

I'm still a fan of media I own. Best of luck if you think Apple, Neflix, and Amazon will keep their same pricing structure if their profit margin decreases.

These book ommercials he does on third tier cable channels are truly awful. You would think he would have enough cash not to have do this daily.

Have to admit I have liked every Bond trailer that I have ever seen, although some of the movies do come up short.

Jerry, does perform all over the country not just NY and Vegas. If the only audience that comedians can't stand, is the college crowd. There is probably a little bit of truth to this.

I grew up when there was this mix of 8 track, vinyl, dolby cassette, and then cds. I do remember it was like Christmas to get the vinyl albums in the mail and check out the cool album art when you tore open the cardboard mailer.

I had forgotten long ago about Columbia House. In the 1980s, it was amazing how bad the record selection was in most cities. I still remember going to Tower Records in NYC and could not believe places like that actually existed. I ordered a lot of Columbia House when it was the only place to get non disco stuff. I

I did see part of one her Hallmark Mystery Movies. I would put her in the still gettin it done category.

Have to admit i loved the handle it roy from the mayor. Maybe it was being from a midwestern family growing up in the south.

There are so much great stuff that I had forgotten. In the montage, I saw one of his taxi cabs games in the montage with tic tac toe. I remember that was an early staple: having audience members try to catch a cab at 5:30 and try make it around the block back to the studio before the show ended. I thought Bill

It was really entertaining the interview with Lawrence even if he was hammered. I loved the shot of him turning over his elevated chair off camera.

I think its also the case that the tonight show is a 50 year institution. Pre Dave CBS had Pat of the wheel of fortune and columbo reruns.

CBS does seem to be posting these final shows on you tube and on their cbs.com website.

I really enjoyed these last two weeks of shows. They were outstanding. Like others I had not watched often in the last five years. I guess it had lost some of its edge by booking more ex-presidents and movie stars. I will always have fond memories of the NBC Latenight with Letterman Show. I watched it a lot in

i believe others have mentioned this article but the Jon Hamm interview in today's NYTimes Arts section was quite good and gave Jon's take on the end of the show.
