It does seem that all the shows with staying power were all well written. I have noticed on the rerun channels that shows like Cheers and Taxi are funny even if you are not viewing the screen. This show not so much.

I would also recommend Alias. Entertaining MI type show that made Jennifer Garner a star.

I've been watching Enterprise on hulu on SAT: an underrated scifi show. Great to binge watch with related story lines. Seem to be on all of the streaming services.

Do miss the day when every 7-11 had a pinball machine in the corner.

I was hoping they could do a shout out to the superfriends in the title: The Pre-Wonder Twins Years

I read the NIH study in the New York Times. It seems to imply that the extreme weight loss my have wrecked the people's metabolism. So, they would gain weight even if only consuming 1,200-1,400 calories. I found it kind of sad given all the abuse they took, and the fact that you never get those 3-6 months back you

It is a trip to compare the rotten tomatoes rating for critics v. the public. Maybe they need more 13 yr old film critics.

Would really enjoy if TCM Special Events would choose 2001 SO

It does seem those over the air digital B channels like Movies! and Grit have better movies than netflix. Morituri, coming to netflix, is an interesting thinking man's B&W spy movie made by Brando &Yul Brenner with 20th Century Fox in the mid 50s. I saw it on the Movies! channel.

It's kind of sad when they have to reboot mediocre movies based on video games.

This is pretty much a master of the obvious column. When you see the Batman movies have 100x more votes than Hitchcock movies or 90s romantic comedies, you're pretty sure that the over 45 crowd is underrepresented.

He was great bad guy in Charade, an underrated movie. His role was a great mixture of serious bad guy and comedy. It kind of foreshadowed his work in the Police Squad movies.

He was certainly great in Cool Hand Luke, but I always enjoyed his smaller character actor bits. I miss all the great character actors from the 1960s and 70s TV and movies. I enjoyed him in small roles in several Clint Eastwood (Eiger Sanction) and John Wayne films as well as TV westerns like Big Valley and Gunsmoke.

I did enjoy picking up the combo dvd recently for AF1 and In the Line of Fire. Like In the Line of Fire better but two fun weekend movies to watch.

I remember as a kid reading the Sword of Shannara comic as part of bestseller show case that was syndicated in the local paper. Really well done, much better than this show, if you find a reproduction or see it produced on a website.

Movies that get released during NCAA March Madness generally are some of the worst movies of the year if not the decade. This movie seems to fit into this model.

Good list. I also did enjoy Love Actually and Music and Lyrics. I do enjoy some of the 60s romantic comedies. Barefoot In the Park and The Owl and Pussycat and It Should Happen to You were all quite good.

Simms and Nantz are such Manning fan boys. I'm sure you will never hear them mention HGH for a second. I'm think the Bronco radio network would give you a more neutral form of analysis.

Actually saw Murder by Death last night. It's a really fun parody of classic detective characters.

Also, the tv show police squad that predated naked gun movies is really funny as well.
