"the original premise, “a malfunction turns an amusement park murderous,” isn’t something you can keep going for more than a season or two" - yet somehow, 'Lost' managed to turn a group of castaways stranded on an island into a pretty compelling six seasons.

A hung jury means the defense did a good enough job that the jury is divided and half think he's innocent. So yeah, you'd think he would be.

Because it's completely and utterly unethical! You can't have relationships with your clients in just about any business, but a lawyer who's trying to defend a potential criminal? It's the same reason you wouldn't be able to get your mom to defend you if she was an attorney - there's an emotional vested interest

I thought the drug-smuggling only made sense BECAUSE of the kiss- Chandra had feelings for Naz, whatever they may have been based in, and because of her emotional attachment, she was willing to get the drugs. Without that, she would never in a million years have agreed.

I was seriously waiting for Stone to jump up and cross-examine anyone but AT LEAST Box! What gives? Chandra is whip-smart, but she's also clearly nervous and shaky, and while Stone doesn't have trial experience per se, he's got a good read on people, knows what pushes their buttons and probably has the innate skills

Fairly certain there was ONE close-up, and like the commenter before me said, how many hundreds of gratuitous boobs and vag have we seen over the years. Please.

You're like the only one who seems to be currently watching and posting so we have no one else to discuss with, we have to stay on each other's good sides. ;) I also haven't watched beyond 4 yet, so will have to save comments on future eps until next wk.

First off, the last sentence was a joke, calm down.

Huh? How would he be bankrupt? Even if he took max one case a day for that money, he'd be making $7,000 a month. And it's clear from his clothes and living situation that he isn't doing so hot financially.

!00% agree. John's line: "I'd do anything to be 35 again, take the plea" isn't valid since once he gets out of prison he'll be a 35 yr old with no college education, no work experience, and OH YEAH, a convict who spent 15 years in prison for sexual assault and murder.

Born New Yorker or not, Naz is a Muslim living at home w/ his parents who doesn't drink or do drugs and is insanely excited about what appears, at 20 years old, to be the first party he's ever attended or even been invited to, so much so he's willing to steal his dad's cab to get there. So I'd say this makes all his

What the hell w/ the stepfather? I don't care if you aren't close with your stepkid, but ANY kind of emotion or reaction from seeing pictures of her dead and spattered with blood? Little weird/suspicious.

Idk about cute. I was wondering if they selected a group of boys who all look a little like aliens on purpose…

Ok, I think I can say definitively that I liked the finale. It was dramatic, it was sensational - everything we (are supposed to) love about this show, rolled into the original POV format and featuring revelation after revelation.

I don't think we're meant to sympathize with drunk driving, what ever gave you that idea? And yes, more than being an accident, it was a series of events that made them all complicit in this cover up where if they HAD called the police, implications for at least two of them would've been fairly dire.

You're not alone!! Omg, I expected the recapper to complain about his extreme overacting in EVERY scene he was in. I didn't find it believable in the slightest. Painful is the exact way to describe it.

Max' testimony was a surprise to everyone. No one knew he was on the witness list. Also, Noah decided to confess in that very moment. It def wasn't premeditated.

Allison is so over Noah. She doesn't care what he does any more, doesn't trust or confide in him, makes her own plans as if she's waiting for him to leave her. Rightly so, now that she has herself (and Noah) a bit more figured out.

I think the point is, Noah doesn't try to understand anything about the situation besides the immediate effect the information has on him. He doesn't care that Max is brutally unhappy, that he's been in love w/ Helen for years, that they had a relationship, not just sex, that he's been a garbage friend to Max - all

Who's Gabriel?
