The last season of this (I guess it was the last season anyway) was pretty sad. By then Adult Swim was firmly established, with ATHF and Sealab and the like, and they tried to make this show more like them. It was awful. Non-sequitors by themselves are not automatically funny.

A friend of mine who lives in L.A. has been hyping this for a while. It looks pretty cool.

Lanegan's voice is a national treasure. I refuse to believe that this isn't good.

As far as best of lists for this year go, I still really like that Liturgy album. Like the mythical honey badger, I don't care.

Italian horror
those caveats could apply to pretty much every Italian horror film, but i love them anyway. is anyone making movies like this anymore?

Paul Sorvino had no trace of a Russian accent either, as i recall.

so, do we like these albums yet? it may be damning with faint praise, but if you took the best songs from each and put them on the same album, you'd have a stone cold classic, imo.

i know next to nothing about Olivia Munn aside from her being hot, which actually is an improvement on Lady Gaga as far as i'm concerned.
