Yes!! It certainly seems plausible, since Teddy said something about Wyatt having a kind of power over him, like "the devil himself," when he remembered that particular version (Teddy as sheriff) of events. God/narrative mode would definitely explain it.

Not sure what all this Johnny Depp nonsense is, this guy is clearly the unholy second coming of Jesse Camp, right down to the traumatizing voice affectation.

Looked like an albino reticulated or Burmese python on her. To be fair, they can be pretty docile. A fun fact (well, to me at least!), TVs/movies always seem to use the albino retic/Burm as a stand-in whenever the script calls for a 'big scary snake.'
