The amount famous celebrities gets paid goes up over time. If Jon Stewart can make the Daily Show the highest paid gig in TV then so can Jessica Williams if she does a good job. If she really turned down that job she made a stupid financial and creative decision.

Doesn't matter when the show airs. Most people will watch one or two late night shows. I'm going to DVR Colbert as of right now. I'm not going to DVR Trevor Noah more than likely.

Ratings are all that matters in Hollywood. If Trevor Noah delivers near the ratings Jon Stewart did then he will demand the same huge paycheck.

Bullshit. You don't pass on hosting the Daily Show to be the 4th star on some crappy ABC sitcom. This show paid the last guy to host nearly $30 million dollars a year. Anyone that says they turned down the Daily Show is either lying or stupid.

He's been so good. My hype meter is going off the charts for a CBS show. This has never happened to me.

That's why they invented hookers and blow. Do you know the quality of blow you can afford when you host the Daily Show?

Jon Stewart was the highest paid dude on TV. Anyone that can get near his ratings would expect a similar salary. Anyone that turned down that job is a complete idiot. It's instant fame and fortune if you do a good job.

It's an amazing bungle no matter the cause because I really think they are in trouble. Colbert's viral videos since he's gone to CBS have been great. Makes me think the show will at least be somewhat political. I might not watch the Daily Show which is something I never thought I'd say. I'm also really down

Not about the money? NOT ABOUT THE FUCKING MONEY? $30 FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR TO READ A TELEPROMPTER? *walks away, spins on heels* Not about the money? *crying, shakes head* $30 MILLION DOLLARS! NOT ABOUT THE MONEY?

After his first contract if the ratings are near Jon Stewart's ratings and his agent has an IQ above 40 he should be able to demand even more than Jon Stewart got paid.

The CEO of Comedy Central is paid millions a year to avoid bungling the transition of their crown jewel show. When Stephen Colbert steamrolls Trevor Noah in the ratings heads should roll.

Then their agents should be killed. Jon Stewart makes $30 million a year and is massively famous. He was able to use his fame to host award shows and direct terrible movies. If what you say is true then they are some of the dumbest people ever.

Just a terrible decision by Jessica Williams. Seriously, is she mentally ill? How often does she think she's going to be offered a $30 million dollar a year job. Everyone that turned down the Daily Show is honestly a raving lunatic of epically stupid proportions.

So basically Comedy Central has no respect for any correspondent who has paid their dues by actually making The Daily Show the awesome show it is today. What an insult to offer it to all these clowns when they have talents like Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi, Al Madrigal, Jessica Williams, and the other

His most famous comedy bit is celebrity karaoke. If Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden tried to come up with the most evil horrible idea ever they would never arrive at something as awful as celebrity karaoke.

If they need villains with S&M undertones they should just reintroduce the classic Silver Age villianess Mistress Ballkicker and her henchwomen, Pegleg and Dildofoot.

This is way better than The Mime, their crappy Joker rip off.

I have to disagree with her. Sansa is fucking dead. No one can survive that fall.

Nick DiPaolo is one of the few comics that is more hacky and terrible than Lampanelli. Hearing him speak reminds me of why people used to be so racist against Italians. He stinks.

I've found the Darth Vader management style is an effective way to motivate my business team. Nothing promotes synergy and organic growth like using the force to choke employees that have failed me.
