Is this a comedy?

Same! I thought I was the only one because I always hear people raving about Gina in these kinds of plots, but I much prefer Gina helping others (like she does with Holt or Jake; this may be why I prefer their scenes more than Gina with others) or teasing in a light manner (like the cement prank)

Holt: The odds of that happening are vanishingly small
Laverne: I would say, infinitesimally
Jake ("wisely"): Yeeees, and I would say teenily weenily. We all know words.

It's about time!! I'm so happy!!

Loved both episodes. Both very funny. As always, am a huge Jake and Amy fan - love the way they are progressing that relationship. Rosa was amazing in Cop Con. Too tired to insert memorable quotes but there were quite a few :) (Tequila steam really made me laugh lol)

I think it was at the Funeral episode (for Dozerman)

The pilot is pretty solid and a good introduction to the characters. though tbh you could introduce her with this episode because it is different from most B99 episodes and then go back?

I thought this episode was great! It balanced humor and serious conversations really well. And it looked at the problem from a very real point of view. And Terry and Andre were fantastic in the episode! Loved everything about this episode, well done Brooklyn 99

I don't think fans can but the writing of a specific episode can be up for an Emmy even if the show isn't

Tonight's B99 tackles racial profiling in this weeks episode and it looks to be very good. Surprised that it is just mentioned under regular coverage.

I have a feeling it was pebbles and sand, not actual cement (but cement just sounded better). Because when they spat it out, it was mostly liquid they spat, so it was probably just added to their drinks. Actually cement would be way thicker and harder to disguise in drinks and food.

"When people say good morning, they mean hello. When people say how are you, they mean hello. When people say wassup, they mean, I am a person not worth talking to."

This is a small thing, but it seemed like Holt was on the phone and he called Kevin "dear" and I love their relationship! <3

It also cracked me up when Amy was talking about the yogurt in the grout. It really would smell terrible lol. Though I kind of wish they had combined the Terry/Gina/Amy storyline with the Charles/Holt one just because those two felt a little rushed and I think they could've done more with Terry's ex

yeah B99 is funny bc they sometimes have these alarmingly obvious inconsistencies, but at the same time, they do so many call backs to earlier episodes

Agreed! I was surprised that it seemed like the entire 99 hadn't seen Gina since the accident. Also was confused by the line where Jake was saying he wouldn't see Amy if they didn't work together bc did they move in together? Also he was in FL for 6 months.

Holt: I've never been more proud of you for anything in your life
Terry: I mean I've solved a lot of cases for you
Holt: And yet, crime is continued

yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe it can begin with the Winston/Aly wedding and continue with the story from there

Really hope that New Girl gets at least a half season to truly wrap it up. This episode was very nice, but I think they definitely have a few more stories left in this characters; maybe they could even do a time jump

Yeah but since he's another architect of the bad place, what if the bad place train only takes you to the bad place. We have no proof that the train goes to the good place. But we do know that it moves around bad place neighborhoods
