Exactly, that's why I tend to take these episode by episode reviews with a grain of salt. It's hard to not view it through the "tune in next week to find out!" lens we've come to expect, but for most Netflix stuff it kind of has to be done.

They really stuck the landing in my opinion. Obviously they weren't really going to kill Daredevil but its rare that a show can actually sell that feeling as real.

I really liked it a lot, I'm not really vibing with the reviewer here so far. It did great service to each of the characters, even helped me like Iron Fist a little more, but mainly in the team dynamic. The Hand's structure is finally made clear and cleared up any quibbles I had with Daredevil season 2. Really excited

I love the character color coating, even for the villains. Great start, but excited for this to get going

This finale was almost as much as a gut-punch as season 1 was in terms of finally revealing the perpetrator. Few shows have rivalled that reveal and the feeling of utter "oh god no" from me

I got a bunch of targeted ads on twitter for male dating apps for months because I tweeted about Chris Evans biceps ONCE. okay maybe twice

Charlie's smile always warms my heart. He could have just told me my father had just died violently and I'd be none the wiser

I took my father to see "Girl's Trip" without telling him literally anything about it just to make myself chuckle, because he is not what he would consider the… Target Audience. It was a funny movie, but the best part was that my dad cried at the emotional apex of the film.

Somehow Randy Newman has had a new album out for a week and I only just got my copy, so that's what I'll mainly be listening to

It's way too much for me, her music always has been. Not saying it's bad, just not to my liking. I'm hoping for her success after all that shit. "Boogie Feet" with Eagles of Death Metal is undeniably a fuckin banger of a track though

I've heard the whole album a couple times now, but the leak wasn't the most amazing quality. Youtube's compression isn't great either, the song is killer on spotify though. As far as the Ronson influence goes I almost think its primarily so Josh Homme can piss off people who can't get over Songs For The Deaf, and to

Theodore is an excellent drummer, great live. I've listened to the whole album a couple times now. There is no big shiny moment "solo" for him but the amount of time changes and kooky rhythms in every single song is very impressive. This album will at least be in their top 3 for me.

Out of curiosity, what is the room temp on They Came Together here? Cuz I for one find it to be incredibly hilarious.

We're verging on nuclear war and this guy is fucking with a premium cable channel

I finished Wet Hot pretty quick, saw Hans Zimmer live in Chicago (Rosemont). It was incredible, cried twice. Once during the Gladiator suite because it was beautiful and the first time I had felt at peace for a while. Second time because he ended the show with "Time" which always gets me. The second half I couldn't

It wasn't the song I was hoping they'd lead with, but after a listen or two I probably now listen to it once a day.

I'm so beyond excited for Queens of the Stone Age's album that from a medical standpoint I'm glad the War On Drugs album comes out the same day because they really mellow me out.

This is their worst album, but even then it is very listenable. For me the problem with doing music that addresses "current issues" is that its a really tough line to walk. Unfortunately here for me it seems a little too "current issues", in that it almost feels like the songs were written just to capitalize on it.

Still one of my all-time favorite films, period. When I was a lil kid this seemed like revolutionary action filmmaking to me. And to some degree it is, but it was the first action film I had ever seen that was gritty, realistic, committed, and felt like an actual experience.

This show, as useful as it is to pass time traveling or doing stuff around the house, has been a staple in my life during some tumultuous times. The podcast, the tv show, both mean a lot to me. For better or worse it has changed my sense of humor and has helped with my outlook on life to an alarming degree. May Scott
