All of THIS.
All of THIS.
Yes, but that really took a while.
Seriously—Barry making video for Iris and giving it too her completely melted me into a puddle of goo. It really sold me on their future romantic relationship in very sweet way, because it was about what she needed in that moment and not about his own despite to see her reciprocate his feelings.
Only if you think her use of "diverse" for a not-very-diverse-at-all lineup wasn't part of the joke.
I love Siobhan and Italia Ricci, but it was hard to believe she would put that get-up on. Whereas Livewire's costume actually feels like a hyped-up version of her pre-lightning strike character.
I have been similarly mystified, but sadly spending too much time on the internet has very quickly taught me that most of the people who insist on claiming that the Barry/Iris story is incestuous are really more opposed to it as an interracial relationship and are using this as a more socially justified excuse.
I completely second this!
Made even better by the way James and Winn could tell what was coming during the original line.
Yeah, that was some weave on wild!Alex!
She was in one episode of Castle since then.
It's actually an established character trait of Cat that she isn't—she's had at least one similar anti-Republican line before.
Seriously the doorknob falling off after Pablo's cheating was revealed is one of the best bits of comic timing I've seen in ages.
What a fantastic episode! Jane and Petra's friendship was so wonderful, and I love that they are digging into the postpartum depression storyline like this. That ending hit me so hard!
It was a plot point in season 1 that Jane got Rafael to agree to pay child support and put it in writing long before Mateo was born.
Really agree on Jesse's storyline being a highlight of this one!
I thought so too, but now I think that whatever does it will affect Wally and Jesse at the same time.
I think it would be genuinely more interesting at this point to break Michael and Jane up rather than kill them, but I can't for the life of me figure out how they could pull that off given where the characters are right now.
Agreed! I had much higher expectations for the Michael's parents situation, I think; it was a bit too over the top and sitcommy.
Agreed. I can't really be upset at an episode that gave the narrator so many good lines and substantially upped Ivonn Coll's role (and wasn't she fabulous throughout, even before that dynamite dance scene?) and had Rogelio, of all characters, break my heart into little pieces. (The scene that really got me was the "I…
Love this review, and especially the whole paragraph making this point: "some of the smaller beats…highlight the show’s ongoing Joan Problem. This feels like a case in which her approach would be informed by her experiences, but since the show has largely sidelined Joan’s family, there’s a sense of so much missing…
