Yeah, I thought her attitude in this episode was more about the fact that her dad was ignoring her and shutting her out; they implied that there was a long history of him ignoring her for his work/not letting her join in it.

Jessie's reaction to her dad's snark in that moment was beautiful.

There's a big difference between private colleges—which are non-profits and subject to strict regulation—and for-profit ones. "Private" just means not state-run.

Yes, I would normally complain about how on-the-nose this aspect of the show was, but the reality of for-profit colleges is so bad I was cheering them on the whole time.

Again, I just need to say that I love these reviews!

She was definitely being psychologically tortured. See every conversation she had with Zoom, Zoom bringing her to her dad only to whisk her away, etc etc.

Their affection was believable in large part because he obviously adored Iris, and she loved bragging about his computer smarts (and incidentally, the algorithm worked). People don't fall for people based on their ability to fight bad guys, but being really into the person who's into you does work.

Caitlin is more likely to wind up with Grodd than she is with Barry. You could argue Grodd has been her One True Love all along and all this interlopers just time-wasters…

Speak for yourself. I legit teared up when Iris-2 asked Barry-1 to hug her alternative dimension father for her.

Does anyone else find it odd that both "National City" and "DC" exist in this universe? The whole time I has assumed that NC was just a DC-world equivalent of the US capital.

Great review—I agree about this being an even-keeled episode, despite some moments that didn't make sense (Cat not believing Kara is Supergirl even after the doppelgänger exists, Cat and Adam taking Kara's kidnapping way too much in stride, Adam and Kara being too invested after never having a full date).

Well, it actually would have made sense for Lord to have a way to tell the two Supergirls apart, given that Plan A was for her to look the same and replace her.

The point was that Bizarro's freeze vision and Kara's heat vision were canceling each other out perfectly, so Bizarro gave up and tried a new tactic. I think Kara was still in shock from the whiplash between her date and the fight for her life.

Have you missed the giant NOONAN's on every coffee cup, every pastry bag, and in the restaurant itself, which is both the coffee shop and the bar where James and Lucy go on dates? It's supposed to be the bottom floor of the building and they re-use the set without shame.

That would have made more sense than their complete lack of concern when she returned from being kidnapped.

I think at this point Jay being Zoom is the only way to make his mess of a plot line make sense.

Well, we know that Grodd and Supergirl are on alternative Earths. The rest are anyone's guess.

A Killer Frost Enemy Mine situation would be awesome!

It did seem like Wally had important plot information to convey. Maybe we'll find out next week.

Yes! So annoying.
