    I think there's a worse I&S moment in this very episode with Itchy's Pinocchio nose going through Scratchy's eye. Eye-based gore always makes me cringe.

    I also remember there being a super obvious goof when Joey is supposedly naked in the shower, you can clearly see the outline of his boxers in his shadow.

    Friends must've been the last show to have the clip show as a regular thing. They had one every season starting with the sixth (?). In the last season they had a regular episode as a clip show plus the 1 hour retrospective before the finale.

    What was the last show to have a clip show? Scrubs did one in 2006 or so.

    Did they redub all the clips, or did they use the audio from the original episodes? In Germany they just redubbed everything.

    I think it holds up, absolutely. Some of its best stuff rivals The Simpsons' best imo

    That ironic street line seems like something straight out of the newer episodes, that kind of pointing out the meta humor with unnatural-sounding dialogue they love so much. It kinda works in the context of a clip show, but nowadays they'd have ended the scene in the actual episode with it.

    I can't see an analogy where The Simpsons isn't The Rolling Stones at this point.

    The original (well, "original") material in this episode is pretty funny, but it's a weird concept for a clip show. Like, if you have to do one make it a collection of many brief funny moments that show how great the show as a whole is, not condensed versions of previous episodes that just remind us that we should
