Well, I said going into this season I was either going to love it or hate it. That I'd vacillate so erratically between the two emotions—I had no idea. I thought at first the scene with the school secretary would be this episode's hi-spot for me: absolutely understated and just what this overwrought boiling stew of

I thought it was heartfelt because I have long assumed she was an out actress, but checking the internet I can find no confirmation of that fact. It was a hard scene to watch though.

I'm still curious about how Eric and Taylor found each other. I'm surprised no one (on the show or off) has asked that. Two closeted guys in very different social spheres; I have a hard time believing their eyes met across the quad…Seems like that might have some bearing on what happened next.

2 things. First, we're assuming that Eric and Taylor having sex and Taylor being assaulted by some guys on the team aren't separate incidents that happened at the same party. They are not necessarily related or concurrent.

Well, I cheated. I didn't start watching until the middle of S3 and binged everything up til that point. And I took a long break a few epis after Liam's OD (as hinted). Other than that I enjoy quite a bit about the show and it often makes me laugh out loud (again, Lip is really the only character that I find annoying).

I thought the song was more of the same ol Fiona bashing this show seems to feel the need to indulge in again and again. I recollect almost quitting on the series after Liam's OD, when that holier-than-thou POS Lip ragged on her for like three episodes while simultaneously engaging in all the bad behaviors he was

I think this may prove true. At the beginning of Epi 1, when Taylor was looking at his phone at the basketball practice, I got the feeling he and Eric were already dating. And I know people have posited that Taylor was cruising an app on his phone, but I thought one of the pics was of Eric.
