I'm rereading American Gods for maybe the sixth time right now… it's one of my favorite books in the world. I can't recommend it enough.

I think I missed the Freak Show connection (although I skipped the last two episodes of that season because I just couldn't handle it anymore).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that the first talking head with anyone other than Matt, Shelby, and Lee? It's either completely random and means nothing, or he'll be back. Both are equally possible with this show.
