I think that DTRT, Mo' Better Blues, Crooklyn, Jungle Fever, Clockers, Bamboozled, Malcolm X, He Got Game, 25th Hour, and Inside Man are well worth the time. The flawed ones in the bunch are still worth seeing.

This one hit many of the people that immediately make me pay attention when a work of theirs is mentioned. The Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson and PTA are good even when they aren't in my opinion.
