…Oh, that's brilliant. Wish I'd thought of it. Really chuckled there!

Particularly enjoyed the return of Special Agent Phillip Teapot. This episode was great! I'm not sure I want things to start happening any more than they already have. I'm enjoying the (relative) quietness. I'll really miss Dougie!

This episode was so majestic. I watched Chuck's final explosion twice in a row. (I'm even leaving a comment, which is something I never do!) This show is so darn rewarding in its stillness, and in its respect for both the viewer and the characters. Hooray.

How is Con Air not on here? The mullet! The vest! The soundtrack! A perfect storm of 90s 'tude.

What a terrible idea. This is going to be a total car crash.

I don't comment on things all that often, but you know what? I'm not sure I've ever read an AV Club review that so thoroughly encapsulates and articulates how I feel about a piece of entertainment, as well as thoughtfully elaborating on those opinions. This really connected with me for some reason. Thanks Allison (and

Huh, no way, maybe *that's* where I get my weird postmodernism groove from… Cool! The books are great, aren't they? More than just a very fun diversion.

No need to apologise! Just means we both have good taste. (And/or Netflix accounts.)

You're quite right - and it did seem towards the end of JJ that they were teasing more origin story connections for the next season (some corporation conspiracy? I can't quite remember), which made me a bit grumpy. I've only just started Luke Cage but that's interesting to learn it has an origin story episode… Does it

"How'd you get your powers?"
"Accident. You?"
"Experiment."
"Great. Let's go."

Looks like the casting for S3 of Mr Robot is coming along very well indeed.

You know, I did watch Sense8 in the end, and I really have to agree. Thoroughly disliked it. I wouldn't have thought of comparing BoJack and Sense8, but you're right - and BoJack has the better characters, I think. I watch an episode of BoJack and sometimes think "Man, I wish I could have a whole episode dedicated to

Fringe is such a great show! I really can't understand why it doesn't get more love, and I'm always excited to see new articles written about it (including this one, which seems like rather a good idea for a regular feature). I remember being completely bowled over by the first season finale and from then on I was

I wonder if there was meant to be a sort of Gothic-y psychological bit to the monsters? I think the Doctor said something like "sleep protects us from what we could become" at one point, and it seems like the kind of thing Gatiss would be into. But even if that's the case, it didn't really work. Sleep deprivation

"It's not paranoia when it's real." I really enjoyed this! I never thought that Doctor Who would wring an extremism analogy out of the very rubber-suit-y Zygons. I guess I maybe SHOULD have thought that, but there we are.

I started watching Moonlighting after I saw another article on here recommending it, and I couldn't love it more! Having grown up with Action Willis, the knowledge that he could be not just funny but hilarious was shocking, and I always feel like I should buy the script and frame it whenever I watch an episode.

I liked the premise of Lost, but it was just finishing by the time I got round to it - and reactions to the ending made me stay away from the whole thing. So I suppose I have a Lost-shaped hole in my viewing experiences. I tried to fill it with Flashforward. That did *not* go well.

First Garry Marshall as Abe, now Jason Beghe? I had no idea who either of those people were before I read these reviews (shame on me), but with context, I've really gotta say this show has some of the best, most thoughtful guest casting I've seen.

You'd say Sense8 is worth watching then? I didn't enjoy Cloud Atlas that much (needed more James D'Arcy!), so I figured the show would probably be quite similar in terms of having a large scope and, for me at least, not really living up to its ambitions. Could be tempted to try it though.

I didn't like BoJack when it started last year. Great, just another sitcom about an unlikeable horse, I thought, what's new? I think if I were watching it on the telly I would've switched off after about 6 weeks.
