Leah Remini isn't that great an actress but has good teeth.

Pay me a million dollars I still would rather forego it.

You are an expert yet you never even read Fundamentals of Thought.
You are a truly gifted individual. Forge ahead!

In 50 years people will wonder what all the fuss was about. Look what happened to Christianity when it came on the scene. This is nothing.
"All truth passes through three stages; First it is ridiculed, second, it is VIOLENTLY attacked and third, it is accepted as being self evident!"
~ Arthur Schopenhauer

"Way to Happiness" is a great book. Very simple but don't knock it. The army and police in Colombia thought so. They organized and distributed a ton of them in the cities and actually Colombia is no longer the refining and distribution center for the drugs any more. Simple but beats what the DEA did in Afghanistan

I think you've skipped a few gradients. Go back to Fundamentals of Thought and re -read it.

OK. I thought you were pulling my leg.
I don't dislike them at all. I don't dislike computers, space probes, gizmo's or ceiling tiles. I just picked random technological things both good and bad that we design and make for whatever purpose we need them for. Computers are fine with me. So are cell phones, cars or any

Good attempted misdirector. Highly irrelevant.
Is that the most interesting comment you have from the whole post?
Again - remove blinders and open eyes.
You are in fact a spiritual being. Like it or not! Embrace the fact and move on.

The names in Mission Earth were changed to protect the guilty.
Lucky for them!

With your chops you should think big and work on raising the dead!

Free Speech is fine but the bias in this film and even more so the book is quite obvious to anyone with more than a passing knowledge of this subject.
Anyone with even a trace real interest and/or integrity (and a lack of prejudice) should go to the library and read "Scientology Fundamentals of Thought". It's concise

I think Scientology will make their own movie to counter this film. The film is very one-sided so HBO may well feel they need to air something to balance the scales a bit.
It's not a black and white issue and I think that's obvious to anyone who can see beyond the media spin.

The IRS needs to re-evaluate their whole reason for being!
Google "Freedom to Fascism" eye opening.

A lot of people are also indoctrinated by the internet these days too. Hard to decipher fact from fiction sometimes.
Cellphone savvy may have limitations!

Ok. Well very interesting points you raise Thomas.
I just think with all the media attention and focus on celebrities the values have been misaligned so it looks like a sort of self centered approach to religion.

Very specious and overemotional argument indeed!
As I say attacks have occurred against Scientology since 1950's and my view of it is that these attacks are well-funded and organized. Any allegations are allegations till proven in court - which these will never be as far as I can see. It's a very good smear campaign.

You are obviously a smart person and I wasn't trying to call you an idiot.

Well you have a firm opinion and I don't want to try to change it. Technology is fine and helpful but has not really solved our really big problems of how we live peacefully together on this planet. It has actually magnified some of them To my mind religion is valid to that end. But that's my opinion. And my

Well we can at least agree on the fact that Beck is good and I like your other musicians too Bowie, Reed et al.
As far as religion goes you have a good point on the celebrities as they do hold a lot of attention like it or not.
So yes they are relevant but not all powerful.

I saw the Beck comments. My point was simply any of this info (good or bad) on Cruise and even Beck or anyone is really a non issue. People talk about Cruise like they can judge him from a movie or video OR the fact that he's a Scientologist.. They can't. Beck can't be judged personally by a record or an interview or
