His last starring role before this was Daddy's Home, which made $150 million domestically.

all their hopes on their only child, Alex (Ryan Simpkins), and can’t bring themselves to tell her that they won’t be able to afford to send her to Bucknell University

Ha! What're the odds? I'm really glad to hear that he's up next. I'm a big fan and you always do such a good job with these. Hopefully you have as much fun interviewing him as he seems to have talking about his roles.

I saw David Warner at a convention not too long ago. He usually plays these curt, villainous authority figures, but in real life he was the most cheerful, upbeat guy.

Yes, things get pretty interesting when Skye's grandfather invites them to work at his Hawaiian hotel for the summer…especially when they find out a no-good developer is trying to buy his land!

They recently finished season 4. It was the best season yet.

If they weighed the costs of both actions and still found it would be better to change directors, that should tell you how bad the problem must've been in their view.

Despite being a jaded horror-movie buff, Conjuring still surprised me with some really great scares. But the sequel was mostly disappointing. It seemed a lot less coherent and certainly less original. (Not to mention the Warrens had almost nothing to do with the "real" Enfield Poltergeist.) Plus, it did this half-ass

Nah, that was just a random crazy thought the THR source threw out there.

Guardians Vol. 3 would be after Infinity War. I'm sure there's some way to quickly introduce Adam Warlock in Infinity War and have him kill Thanos. But that would be pretty lousy filmmaking considering there's already so many existing MCU characters angling for screentime.

Just saw this on Netflix. I really wanted it to be good. When women get the rare chance to direct a horror movie, they're quite successful at it. Plus, it promised the intriguing wildcard of St. Vincent's first directorial effort, and Kusama's first outing following The Invitation.

The odds are stacked again someone who's not conventionally attractive becoming a pop star, period. You don't have to like his music (or his face) to appreciate that it's a pretty rare feat he's pulled off.

…or the dungeon.

I do not like his music, but I appreciate that he's a normal-looking guy who's made it in an industry where a person's talent is often secondary to their attractiveness.

There better not be any goddam astronauts at the show.
