I like that explanation.

Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense, and I guess that's what I was assuming, but I didn't expect the Framework to be that laissez faire. Rather than just reversing a regret and turning everyone loose, I thought it would all be carefully controlled to keep everyone pacified.

But that's my point…I thought the Framework was supposed to make people artificially happy, like what Radcliffe promised to Agnes. If they're miserable and oppressed, I'd think it would make them more likely to eventually fight their programming.

Week after week, this show delivers. Of course the team will escape the Framework, but beyond that I have no idea what will happen or what the ramifications will be. That's good writing when an inevitable conclusion is still surrounded by so much mystery.

CGI Vincent Price using archival video and audio. No one else will do.

I'm more concerned that the "baby" looks like a 70-year-old man. Get that Benjamin Button thing out of here, because it's freaking me out!

Because they already bought it and the entire "decision" is just for show.

No, the difference between the toilet and the sink is I keep falling into the sink.

Did you notice that the househunters always have this one unusual, defining hobby that they incessantly mention in every house they see? "There's not much room for my jugband to rehearse in this one." "My jugband could probably fit in the living room." "This house has a great patio where my jugband can rehearse."

That said, I really loved Interstellar, and don't care what anyone who didn't like it says.

No, she's only ever referred to as MURRRPH!!!!

Well, in Interstellar, Murphy is a child prodigy and brilliant world-saving scientist, so at least there's that.

Jesus Christ, you want me to document the history of 20th century journalism for you? No thanks. Here's a few, the rest you can figure out for yourself. Muckrakers, Murrow, Watergate, the Pentagon Papers, My Lai, the Hiroshima series, etc.

thanks…I had edited it after I realized what he meant.

I don't agree there wasn't a golden age of journalism, but as far as its downfall, don't forget Fox News. When a huge chunk of the population permanently retreats to its own self-affirming bubble because "facts" are liberal, the journalism industry suffers.

Subterranean Homesick Termite.

I don't watch the show, but from this recap I feel bad for Kerrigan. I don't know why her reactions and obvious stress are so weird or contemptible. Competition isn't "fun," it's competition. And not doing well, or at least not well enough to meet your cognitive standard, is difficult for any person let alone a

Oh what, you think you're better than me? You think you're better me now that you have that fancy degree and that expensive car and those nice clothes? Well you'll always be trash…trash just like your mother!!

Pfft. You mean "Romy and Michele are a good movie."

Where does that come from? I'm not aware Sanders was ever known as being outwardly racist. (I'll stipulate that basically any Southerner growing up when he did probably at least harbored prejudices.).
