I love my Paperwhite - perfect for evening reading. The light is absolutely worth the extra $40. The special offers are really unobtrusive (you get an ad as a sleep screen, instead of, idunno, a portrait of an author?), so it's not worth $20 to get rid of them. 3G, which I had on an older Kindle, is really convenient…
