I'm not sure why that's even a question. It's a completely alien world about which we know virtually nothing. Why is it hard to imagine the identity of the thing that was hunting Simmons.

You're right, I was just being snarky, not trying to really criticize his technique. It was just my sense of humor, such as it is. I'm aware, if we're going to use the AV club comments section to be serious, that he has to whip out this review in a matter of almost no time at all.

I do that too, listen to the TV while I'm doing something else. It makes you really aware of how many celebrities have nearly identical voices.

That's a fair point. For all I know he may have started with antagonist and changed it to bad guy in order to avoid sounding pretentious while he said what you're saying there.
