Both. My wife, mom and paternal grandmother are the former; l'm the latter.

What does "split-attraction" mean exactly? I don't do Tumblr, so I don't know.
As a big Allan Sherman fan - and no, I'm not 70 - I'd love to see his notorious mega-flop Fig Leaves Are Falling in this format. (It lasted four days in 1969.) The discussion of why it tanked would be more interesting than the play itself.
I still find Hogan's entrance at Bash at the Beach fascinating. You can see the legit fear on his face. He was even muttering to himself.
Billy Thorpe, especially his earlier stuff, is awesome. "Most People I Know Think That I'm Crazy" is an all-time classic, as is his album "Live at Sunbury."
The only Clear Channel station worth anything is WDVE in Pittsburgh. Ahh, DVE: Where local boys The Clarks are a headlining act, Donnie Iris is a bonafide rock god and obscure bands (to Americans) like Cold Chisel and Billy Thorpe still get played.
I will say this about the Rollers: Their cover of John Paul Young's "Yesterday's Hero" (an all-time favorite of mine) is surprisingly great. They successfully turn it from a Vanda and Young story song to a mission statement.
1996 was the year I started listening to legendary Pittsburgh rock station WDVE - classic rock, some new stuff and plenty of comedy (namely stand up, Bob and Tom and local morning guys Scott Paulsen and Jim Krenn). I know now it wasn't anything major, but the combination blew my mind at the time.
The Pennsylvania one has "hints of molasses and chocolate." They're going for Hershey, right? The Pittsburgh version should smell like cheap beer and stinkbugs.
"The Air That I Breathe" by The Hollies, from Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Before I saw that movie, I thought that song was way too cheesy. I could never listen to it. After the movie… I still can't listen to it, but it's for a completely different reason.
According to the WWE, there will be six people drafted from NXT. Any guesses? Here's mine:
The clone saga happened in ROH, not the WWE.
WWE Cruiserweight Classic started last night on the WWE Network. I went in with high expectations and man… They surpassed every single one of them. They mentioned other companies. They did both UFC style intros and the ROH Code of Honor. We saw major stars (Kota Ibushi, Gran Metalik), rising stars (Arya Daivari) and a…
My brother, wife and I all agree: Ghostbusters II is superior to the original. We're probably the only three people who feel that way, but still.
Hey! I love Boxxle!
The touring version of Steam was the guitarist's brother and his friends. They only knew the one hit, so they only played that. Good call on their part. (I own their album. Outside of "Kiss Him Goodbye" and the Doobie Brothers-esque "One Good Woman," it's awful.)
Back in the late 60s, my dad, uncle and three guys named Stu (not a joke) saw legendary one hit wonders Steam live. (They were a part of a touring festival, apparently.) According to multiple people, they played a ten minute version of "Kiss Him Goodbye," took a brief break, then played it again. "Where did Steam go?"…
I did, due solely to the posters. My entire family had the same reaction: "We need to see this." We all loved it. I wanted to go to Halloween as Cliff so badly that year. I even attempted to make a rocket pack out of cardboard.
I read that as Brick Heck.
The "Think About Your Troubles" segment from the animated special is pure nightmare fuel.
