Maybe I'm over thinking this but I've always found the way the note is written "I love you [comma] Lela" makes it look like it's a message from Lela. When the ep first aired I thought there was going to be a reveal at the end that showed she actually wrote it for Fry.

I was actually looking up if they actually sold the talking Spaceballs Yogurt doll (or anything from the Spaceballs merchandising store). The husband thinks it would be a terrifying doll in real life but I can't imagine anything better than hearing Mel Brooks say "May the Schwartz Be With You" over and over again.
