Yeh, I've seen that too. It would be nice if it could just be accepted that every one of Bowe's albums from '93 onwards has been really good and, depending on your particular taste, some have been exceptionally good.

Nice review. But please don't fall into the trap of bashing the previous (very well received) Bowie album when reviewing the current one. The Next Day is a great album - different to Blackstar, but great none-the-less - and was given the same A- rating in the AV Club review when it was released. 1.Outside reviewers…
