If they make Alicia ill with cancer or something, I would be so disappointed. I like TGW because it's such an elegant TV show. A health problem would make it cheap and soapy.

Yeah I feel like every time when I think of TGW, there is always a 'cynical' and 'irony' undertone, which I like.
I admire their smart storytelling, crafting and pace.
At one point, I started to feel they are now too smart, over-crafted, the plates are almost out of spin.
Yes, when is the last time you hear…
I think Alicia's cry in the last scene is understandable, as if someone just punched her in the gut. She kind of loses everything now, no clients, no political chips, no friends (except Finn)… But that is also how I cried when there is no Alicia and Kalinda sharing the same screen. Seriously, the writers are purposely…
Yes you're right, in this case, shooting in the wild is more humane than slaughterhouse. Even if it's just a dairy farm, it looks like a prison. When the meat come in cuts and pieces, it's easy to forget how it came from.
The election between Alicia and Prady, it kinda reminded me of the race between her and Cary back in S1. Alicia had won, but she knew it was always the dirty tricks behind the scenes gives her the prize, not by her performance. There is no exception that she wins the S.A. office, because she is always 'Peter's wife',…
Yes I tend to agree. If this episode was before Alicia started in campaign, it would be an excellent episode. I would love to see more Nancy Crozier vs LG in court. Although many has referred to these kind of episodes as "fillers", I still has high hopes for the writers, so I can forgive the past three episodes was…
Just one random thought, if…just what if, 50 shades of grey was based on Colin Sweeney character, would it be more interesting?
I thought the last scene was awesome! I love the way Alicia walks away after the kiss, she is ready to kiss ass! I think she was not intended to kiss Johnny, but she was going to kiss anyone. I agree Kayla wrote on Alicia being horny from flirting with Finn (Matthew Goode's British charm is irresistible! ).
But I just…
Matt Czuchry has been impressive in this season, he has a strong Kafka-in-action year, as Diane pointed out in early S6. I think many of us had begged more screen time for Matt, and this is what we get? By throwing him to jail. Wow, the writers know how to toy with the audience.
the good wife ensemble should get an emmy too! it should, no it must be on the best drama category this year.
It was the only episode I don't want to rewatch, because that was too painful to watch.
I agree with the disreputable dog, the anger is towards Peter, less to Ramona. To be honest, once a husband/wife get caught being unfaithful, the other one can always use this 'unfaithful card' to them.
Maybe it was Kalinda did it, to screw Lana just enough to get her off the Bishop case. Therefore she can say to Bishop that Lana is not after his case now, so she doesn't know *la la la* and flies away. Bishop's biggest concern is the FBI investigation, so she needs to, at least pretend to do something to mess with…
at one point, I would not be surprised if Peter admits he had slept with Carrie Bradshaw too. People always fall back into their old habit.
Thanks for your correction, yea my mistake. I thought Finn's office backdrop reminds me of Will's office…The office set has slightly changes throughout the seasons, I might have mixed up with the interior designs.
This is really the finest episode so far. It showcased The Good Wife always capable of: well-balance of sarcasm, tension and sex in 45 minutes.
I am getting deja vu from the scene of Alicia wandered into Finn's office, reminds me of Will/Alicia.
i.e. Finn clears up the files on the couch for Alicia vs. Alicia clears…
of all his protagonists and Sorkin, yes! But why not? He is very smart and a brilliant writer. Preachy is his style… although I don't know why I kept using sarcastic tone towards his shows. And I do watch his shows.
The opening scene of the Newsroom - Will Mcavoy's 'America is not the greatest country' was a great…
Basically all that in every sorkin's series or movie.
Sorkin is a great writer, but soooooo full of himself, his ego is too big for the TV screen. I find Sorkin's Newsroom was set in an alternate universe, where shit always get mysteriously fixed by giving tear-jerking speeches.
Also, she should've realise, she has no friends/allies anymore, she had nearly used up her favors. As her situation became dangerous, she cannot throw people away after getting what she wants.
