That's because their content was shit and the interface was buggy. Stop trying to force CBC-created projects like Republic of Doyle and Being Erica down our throats.

Can A24 make every movie going forward? This one may not be great, but at least they're producing original content.

You think about everything ha ha

Our system makes more sense. Sorry.

Music is such an afterthought on this site

But who was his choice for Batman?! I have to know

Wouldn't it be amazing if it was actually Tupac playing Tupac? You know, since he's been chillin' in Cuba for the past 20 years.

I know. He's the most oblivious father ever. I found Ezra Miller distracting in the film because he just so clearly could not be related to either of the actors playing his parents. He did a great job acting, but I don't think the film as a whole was good enough and deserving of all of their talents.
As an aside, I

For sure. I think he's described as being blond but I could be mistaken. Pamela Adlon is almost 100% in my mind. I'm not thinking of age so much as just look and style.

How's his accent? I can't think of what an Armenian accent sounds like off the top of my head.

The Prophet is an animated movie with Selma Hayek

Another option I've had in mind for Patrick is Damian Lewis.

Agree 100%. I also wasn't happy with the casting choice for Angie. Michelle Monaghan is too dainty and forgettable in the role. In the books, Angie seemed cool, kinda tough, kinda sexy — Actor Pamela Adlon is very close to what I always pictured Angie to look like. And I always saw Patrick closer to someone like

Dennis Lehane adaptations are never as good as the books. The only one that comes somewhat close is Mystic River and The Drop was great because Lehane wrote the screenplay. I'm getting kind of sick of Ben Affleck to be honest.

I have to say, I used to think Billy Bob was totally useless — his gross relationship with Angelina, his low-brow style, his opinions on Canada and other things — but then I saw Slingblade. He totally redeemed himself. There is a very talented man in there somewhere. Slingblade is fucking awesome.

One of my favourites for sure. Best scene in Heat is when Pacino and De Niro meet face to face for the first time. Dynamite. I miss Michael Mann. What's he been up to lately, anyway?

Everyyyybodyyyy hurrrttsss (when they pee), sometimesssss…

Interesting. In terms of film marketing, I think "Based on a true story" means it's mostly true, like Spotlight, but "Inspired by True Events" would be kinda true, or something resembling real events like The Amityville Horror.

Skullets are horrifying.

Good lord this looks so mediocre.
