Yup. That Leo-bump thing. That was when she was walking up to accept her award.

It was really well made. I felt like I was going through fame with her, and it really stuck with me. The next day I was still angry about the outcome and I definitely hate her dad. What an awful, awful man.
I thought that the way it was filmed was great — so many long takes, few cuts, weird trickery with cameras and mirrors — but the movie itself was dog shit. It seemed like a bloated hollywood circle jerk to me.
That's like when Toy Story 3 didn't win Best Picture. The entire theatre was balling their eyes out when I saw it. And it was made up entirely of adults!
I thought JL was incredible in Winter's Bone but everything she's done since seems almost too easy for her. It's like she chooses roles that aren't really that challenging.
They should be though because I thought Hardy's character and performance was way more interesting than Leo's. And they had equal billing on the poster, if that means anything.
Agree. Oh god. Lately I've been looking up who won in certain years. The biggest WTF Oscar year for me is 1969. 2001: A Space Odyssey ONLY won for Best Special Effects. Uh what? That movie is possibly one of the best movies ever made, ever. The Academy is fucked. I also think The Big Short will win Best Picture just…
George Miller should definitely win Best Director over all of the other nominees, especially Alejandro Iñárritu. If nothing else, Mad Max: Fury Road was a beautiful piece of cinema. I was blown away when I learned that they made everything in that movie, like the cars and other props. I'm so glad that George Miller…
I don't think half as many people would have gone to see the film had Mel Gibson been in it.
Interesting Steve McQueen comparison, though I see Tom Hardy as more a Marlon Brando hands down.
Summarized perfectly.
All would be forgiven to me if Mad Max wins Best Picture and Director. But it won't win both.
Tatiana Maslany should be in more movies.
I had a hard time believing him as a father in The Revenant.
They were both great films though I sort of think they're basically the same story. Big enterprise literally/figuratively raping people, getting away with it, but here's how they did it!
I should have looked that up myself. I never hear about suicide statistics in the gun control discussion, and 20,000 is a lot of people.
I feel like if everyone carried a gun, lot of people would be tempted to commit suicide…
That Lemmy tribute was the most bloated thing ever.
Every cashier job I've ever had.
I think the alterna-chicks attraction is probably all Morrissey. It's in his voice. He's completely non-threatening to women but attractive at the same time. Also, I find that he gives the best interviews when he's interviewed by a woman. But anyway, most guys I know who truly like The Smiths are usually guitar guys.…
