I feel like Schwimmer should've played the ex con just for a change of pace. We know he nails the mopey, sad sack character. He even had a little mute sidekick like the old days. But he was effective in his acting. I'm not denying that.

I haven't read the comic, but I didn't take that as a flashback either. Well, I didn't recognize it as a flashback, so I thought oh, these guys came back from death, this is gonna be interesting. Also, Jesse didn't just decide to finally do something about the bus driver- it was directly related to his conversation

Wayward Pines is, I guess, a sub-sub genre? Ugh, why did I think of that stupid show? The novels were probably cool, but I watched last season and now I'm never going back. And tell me, please, how the fuck are they making season 2!? No, don't tell me. I won't get sucked in.

3 was disappointing for me mainly because it relied so heavily on coincidence. A lot of villains is ok. Just shoehorning them in there is not.

Gilbert Gottfried, Bobcat Goldthwait. HODOR (which means all he could say is HODOR), or Steve Urkel.

The very first scene (I think) of the very first X-men, with young Eric being separated from his parents at the Nazi death camp, was so fucking powerful! I did not expect it in a "comic book movie." As the article points out - this was 2000. Superman and Batman, both started strong then got campy, was all we knew.

The best thing about this movie is the Bob Dylan song written for it.

All Hodor and no Hodor make Hodor a Hodor Hodor.

Let's book it, Danno, um Darko.

My favorite. Closest to the Bond of the novels.

I think they should try this approach. Imagine one Bond film with Dalton, then the next year another with Hiddleston taking place in the 60's.

They should bring back Dalton as an aged, grizzled Bond (i.e. Batfleck, Old Man Logan ). I'm half joking, but I honestly would watch the hell out of that.

No mention of Powers Boothe? He was the only character I liked. (Yes, I hated this show and only occasionally watched with my wife) But, seriously, Powers Boothe rules.

I'm all for a female team of funny, ass kicking ghost hunters or adventurers or whatever. But why copy a film from 1984? Just be original. And be funny. Neither trailer looks like it is either of those things.

So, what are your thoughts on the 2005 remake with Ethan Hawke?

It's all them Dukes' fault. Them Dukes!! Them Dukes!

I'm always surprised when I see her in stuff like that movie with Liam Neeson on a plane (don't want to take the time to look it up) She's pretty enough, but in regular 21st century street clothes, she's not nearly as hot. Maybe all the padding of those gowns hide how skinny she is. She should do something from the

Yeah, just give her a cop or p.i. show. Doesn't have to be Nancy Drew.

The whole point of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys is their age. Teen sleuths investigating
mysteries with their friends while growing up, learning about the world and themselves. They had to be secretive about it and be creative. That's what made the books fun. To see a grown up, jaded, depressing Drew would have been

Well, if we're tossing me into a wormhole, let's make it a lot longer than 3 months ago. There's Apple stocks to buy.
