Actually, he was trying to memorize his lines. The scene was re-written before it was filmed. He talked about it at the Twin Peaks Festival recently.

While I haven't seen Following, Memento, or Dunkirk, I have always liked Insomnia most, despite it's relative lack of popularity.

While I am a great fan of Twin Peaks and appreciate the reference, I am rather confused as to what this has to do with the story. But, anyway, it's Twin Peaks, and it deserves an upvote upon that merit.

It's about time Henry G. Sanders and Franco Nero were invited!

I can't imagine so. He was good in Blue Jasmine.

They could have taken "blue" from Davis saying "Project Bluebook" and the "ro" in "rose" from his line "Row after row of gibberish and all of a sudden…" The "s" at the end of "rose" could have been taken from many different quotes.

Dear Wes Anderson,

I think it all works in the end, in a strange way. Except the nudity, which felt gratuitous.

Oops, sorry. I didn't catch that it was a joke.
I'm not always the best with detecting humor in comment form.

Actually I mistook David Leitch for David Lynch.
Although if Lynch was directing, he probably would've cast MacLachlan as Cable.

For a moment, I thought it said David Lynch would be directing, which would be very interesting.

I prefer the version with Michael Redgrave and Edmond O'Brien.

If I could sit through Branagh's Hamlet twice in one day — once with commentary and once without — then I'm sure this'll be a piece of cake.

Unabashed love is what I feel for the film as well.

It's complicated.
