Who would have thought we'd all be $53 million richer than Kanye West?
Dream big, kids.

They're really Philip Seymour Hoffman's ashes.
He's still that good.

"And Peyton Manning has also been called upon to send up Lowe in some capacity—maybe he’ll embarrass Lowe by failing to complete a touchdown?"

Don't forget the third event, which is called "eventing".

That image of Bolt is the best part of the Olympics so far.

Amazon and Hulu not being in Canada still confuses me. And makes watching things legally needlessly complicated.
Some Amazon shows are on Shomi instead of Crave (Mozart in the Jungle, Transparent, Alpha House), so you'd need both to watch everything. We have internet in Canada, why not just have Amazon Prime available

Maybe George gets a cell phone, has Elaine ever owned a bear….?

"While discussing sex on television, Cameron devolves into a hilarious and too real rant on how lesbians are always dying on television."

Just Ask This Scientician is a basic bitch.

It's weird I edited it right away (within 5 seconds of posting) but then showed up unedited for a bit. Blame my initial error on roman numeral's demise. Blame the lag time on disqus.

The first episode of Season 2 is really good and makes you like Tandy and Carol a lot going forward.

The actor, Josh Radnor, was on Colbert last night.
He's in a Civil War show on PBS. He seemed very Ted Moseby-ish during the interview and in the clip they showed. It's a shame for him, really.

I actually liked him again in Season 5 & 6. His role was really toned down and he became more like a featured background character. He doesn't appear in every episode and only has occasional subplots that I actually enjoyed. Like the ghost at the theatre.

First they call Rocky VII Creed and now this?
If the Roman Numeral Lobby didn't have a stranglehold on the Star Wars franchise that would be the end of it.

I did like Carell playing the asshole step-dad. I kind of wish they just let him be a dick and not also have him cheating on the kid's mom. It was a bit too predictable.

The Way, Way Back was okay but a little too formulaic. It was enjoyable enough and you can look past the formula a bit since it was their first time directing. I hope they stray more with this one.

Also briefly theatrically released in the States.
It was on the shortlist (thus definitely eligible).

Going Clear wasn't nominated.
Suspicious that no one has mentioned it. Very suspicious.

"Hey, I know what you guys think of me, okay. Hey it's Coogler. You know, he's cool. He likes to get laid. He's not that old!"
