I wasn't of a fan of him on SNL but since then I've enjoyed his humour a lot on this and Documentary Now (and occasionally portlandia).
The same is true of Will Forte on Last Man on Earth.

All talk show hosts have to feign interest in whoever they're talking to. Seth Meyers does it so insincerely that it's almost as if he's making it clear he doesn't care. To me it feels even more sincere in a weird way.
