Escape from Tomorrow was filmed there, but it was supposedly illegal, so I'm guessing only Disney-owned properties are shot there.

I assumed it was a GI Joe reference.

Especially since, you know, there was a move last year.

No, it says Syfy already has a Project Runway clone in Face-Off; it doesn't actually say it's on SyFy. The review spends much more time talking about Runway than anything SyFy related.

The "stun gun?" and "lightsaber" annoyed me along with another somewhat geeky one that I've already forgotten, but the one that really got to me was Howard the Duck. How is he not common knowledge to everyone?!

Unfortunately it's limited to podcasts that the writers listen to and they tend to have similar interests. I know a couple times they've put out calls for new writers, but I don't know if that led to anyone being hired or if they just hired people that listen to podcasts with that one group of comedian friends.

Yeah, there were pancakes being cooked in my home during that scene.

Yeah, I've had that problem too. My headcannon is that part of the fictional show is that he's not allowed to tell anyone the topic he's reviewing, but it still seems weird that they never catch on.

Yeah no. The MMA connection doesn't work. One is about young women being murdered. The other is a sport. A violent sport, but it's still a sport that has rules that people agree to. There's a difference between sport and murder (despite what some hooligans think).

Yup. I'm here to watch David and now Sonia's descent in to madness.

I think Parks and Rec is a great call, especially if she wants to avoid stuff with killing. It's a positive show about people helping each other and (kind of) enriching their town in the process. Also, the only death I can think of on the show was due to natural causes.

So what channel is this on? There's nothing about that in the review or in What's On Tonight.

Did he say it was in Pawnee or just in that area of the state? I could see him opening it somewhere else and it receiving an Eagletonian like response.

I was 100% surprised until the second phone call. I had figured with the first "oh, they got her to record a message, that's easy and doesn't take any time," but then they surprised me with her showing up.

I was thinking about those recently! Do any of those bars still exist?

So do stores carry all of these? Most of these? Only a few? How many are the likely to have? What price range am I looking at?

DAWES COVERS THE AV CLUB. THE AV CLUB COVERS DAWES.

The alpha/beta stuff that mra/pua people use is supposed to be based on how animals act, except those animals actually work together to take care of the pack instead of constantly in-fighting just to get laid.

Let's retire alpha/beta first since that doesn't even scientifically make sense.

I watched A LOT of Two and a Half Men (like, at least the first five or six seasons worth) when I was younger; Rose was always played as a psycho and the joke was "bitches be crazy" every time. It was really messed up and there were implications of rape (and yeah, it's heavily implied she murdered him).
