I was replying to "oh sorry… ok but Brooklyn isn't that cheap either ;)" and commenting that compared to Noah's new dwelling, Helen's brownstone is actually very cheap.

That would be the value now, but the area has gone up a lot in the last 15 years. I am assuming it was purchased around the time Whitney was born.

Hard to tell, everyone seems to be reading the parts of Noah's book that pertain to them. All accounts presented are out of context…internalized then regurgitated.

"Whitney was in the wind and had a history of knowing how to get random places on her own" and spending a small fortune in taxi's to get there. Estimated taxi fare $400.00 one way, could be more for a holiday.

But it is much cheaper that Manhattan. At the time that the family brown house was purchased, it would have been considered very reasonably priced, a sensible purchase.

Such an excellent point about Noah's materialism, it really sheds a whole new light on his perspective and his relationship with Helen's wealth.

Helen's house is in Brooklyn.

I liked Whitney last week.

It just occurred to me that Scotty might be talking about Whitney's pregnancy, not Alison's. Do we know when this video was taken?

i want to point out is that the drive from Montauk to Manhattan is about 2.5 hours no traffic. Whitney was very motivated. She and Cole had a very long conversation.

Me too.

Agreed, just finished #4 and am having so much fun.

I agree with everything and I am not hangover.

I don't think that it is implausible that there is a building in Berlin full of "off the grid" Muslims or even that one might be a doctor, but the rest well…to say it took me out of the zone would be an understatement.

They mentioned the parents attending in an earlier episode and it was explained they were needed for an assets review around Helen's trust.

Honestly you have no idea if I am prudish or not. Projecting much!

Just rewatched the episode. The blond lady is down right scary, seriously scary. Do men really find woman like this sexy/fuckable?

I am not saying Latina women are made to look white I am saying that they ACTUALLY look white and that television favors Latinas on the whiter side of the spectrum.

Latina women do come in many, many different types of ethnicities, ranging from very fair with blond hair and blue eyed to very dark with thick brown hair and brown eyes. Television always favors the version of woman that is closest to white.

The other woman is always treated like a scarlet woman, since the dawn of time. It is one of those parts of society that has not evolved with time and evidence of our deep and lingering sexism.
