    My thoughts exactly, I still find the show enjoyable, but the story this season was all over the place and incredibly lacking.

    The Kanima myth in real life is a werejaguar, in the show it was a reptilian like creature. The show shouldn't have to abide by every single real life myth, they have their own, like wolfsbane being a hallucinogen for humans when it's incredibly poisonous in real life.
