Why aren't there more people complaining that this isn't 'Fables'?

Can we just stop dissecting jokes because they imply a political intent? Eric Cartman once said he "loved abortions" and gets several every day. This was deemed absurdist and therefore allowable for laughter.
Dunham in my opinion copped out. Who among us believes in a cause they have no "right" to? Who believes in
