I think 1 and 2. I don't think he was going to let his emotions get in the way of making that deal, but he looked shaken through the whole scene, like he would rather not profit directly from his father-in-law's heart attack. I didn't see much in the way of petulance or annoyance that he wasn't told.

No, he's in Detroit, I think. They mention him once every episode or so. ;)

Also, the actor who played Lloyd got killed off by a crazed gunman on Grey's Anatomy. It's amazing how different people look in 1960s drag.

Doesn't anybody want to talk about how brilliant both Caroline and Meredith were in this episode? The actress who plays Meredith does the greatest line deliveries: "Oh, don't eat that! You're so trim!" And Caroline reading the message from Mona: "HEY, GENIUS."

There was an episode where Kalinda got on a city bus and I thought, "Wow, that looks nothing like a Chicago bus…"

I laughed so hard when Froines said "No one is Cherokee…"

Re: Roger's loyalty to and friendship with Don, I also liked Harry Hamlin's line reading when he said that he hated what Don had done to Ted. (Or whatever that line was. But that was a really forceful moment.)

LOVED THAT.

I loved Ginsburg's "You want I should ask him?" And the thing about growing eggs.

Joe's Pie Diner, where Keri Russell, Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Shelly work in Waitress. Chocolaterie Maya from Chocolat (though I think I'd rather go to the book version).

The look on his face when she said that was so touching. I don't think Don Draper expects anybody to love him just because, or unconditionally. The last person who loved him DESPITE was Anna.

I don't know, I think they have lovely chemistry. Maybe not romantic or sexual chemistry, but I think there's a little something between them that makes me interested in what's going to happen next.

I'm okay with whatever the show runners decide if we get Matthew Goode on our TV screens every week. Love him.

That was BRILLIANT.

I would be totally okay with Matthew Goode as Alicia's new romantic interest, but I'm glad that it's not obvious that he will be. I think he's wonderful.

There are black hats, and there are white hats, and there are striped hats…

Agreed, I didn't figure it out by the end of the scene and I was still wondering at the end.

"It's a pastrami sandwich with coleslaw RIGHT ON THE SANDWICH."

Oh, I am SO happy to have this show back. I loved the scene with Neve Campbell on the plane—Don always does seem to be at his most authentic and honest around total strangers.

You're welcome! It actually took me a long time to figure out who Zach Grenier was—he's so David Lee it's hard to process that he has a real-life name! (Of course I could have just looked him up on IMDB…)
